Free Rent Contest Finalists Announced! Voting Starts on May 1
It was an extremely tough decision, but we’ve narrowed it down to six candidates who our Free Rent Contest panel members felt truly had the most creative video that answered the question… “Why Do You Want to Live for Free in a Trillium Apartment Community?”
Each video was judged based on the following:
- Originality and Creativity (30%)
- Adherence to Theme (30%)
- Entertainment Value (30%)
- Video Quality (10%)
The original plan was to have 5 final videos for the public to vote on, but they were all so great that we ended up with 6 finalists. Now it’s time for YOU to decide who should win one year of free rent at one of Trillium’s Phoenix apartment communities. We are so appreciative of the time and effort that every applicant put into their videos. We will be counting votes from May 1 at 12:01 am to May 9 at 11:59 pm. The winner with the most votes will be announced on May 10. At 12:01 am on May, go HERE TO VOTE (www.trilliumresidential.com/free-rent-vote). Be sure to tell your friends, family and co-workers to go vote for your favorite video as well!
(drumroll please…) And the six finalists are…
I vote for Susie and Micah Kaplan. I have known them for awhile now, and I have seen Susie go through all of these bad times. Every time I saw her at church she would always have a smile on her face through it all. Micah is a great guy. He is an awesome guy to look up to also. This is the most perfect couple you will ever meet. I love them. They really do deserve this.

My husband and I are relocating to Phoenix in August and so we’ve been researching apartments. In my research I am so happy to have found these videos – especially the video by Micah. I am not sure how to vote, but if I can – I really think that they deserve the free rent. What a beautiful story!
