Trillium is giving a free apartment for one entire year to one lucky winner! All you have to do is:
- Prepare a creative video telling why you want to live for free in a Trillium apartment community
- Upload the video to YouTube, tag it "Trillium Free Phoenix Apartment Contest" and post the link to your video in the comment section on this page. Then, send the embed code and the YouTube video link to contest@trilliumresidential.com
- Complete the contest entry form and agree to the contest rules.
The winner of the contest gets a FREE one-bedroom apartment at the Trillium community of choice* for 12 months. Plus, you can upgrade to a two or three bedroom apartment and simply pay the difference!
*Excludes Crystal Springs. Availability at each community may affect which community is available to move in to at that time.

Dear Ashley-I am sorry you feel that way about my video. I have wanted to do something "good" for a long time, but I never knew how. Once I heard about this contest, the idea just filled my body and soul. It just feels so right. I can give a million reasons why I deserve free rent. I bet you could to, but this is more than just free rent. This is an opportunity for me , Trillium and you, to do something out-of-the-box, something positive and gives us a chance to reach-out and help. That's what it is all about.

After reading all these votes for Kim, I decided to check her video out. One question came to mind: did Kim make her video or did animoto.com (the link is under the YouTube video) make it? Just saying...the website basically builds your video from images you upload and Im not sure if it was their creativity or hers that made the video?! Maybe animoto.com should win the year of free rent.

I like Lennox's... but wouldn't you rather live at Trillium than a house? It's cheaper in the long run, without taxes and maintenance, etc. Apts are just as nice if not nicer than a house, and all the cool stuff available at each site. Yeah, that's worked out so well for so many Americans lately. Maybe we will finally take a clue from across the pond and start to rent more. Instead of "tapping into equity" and getting in over our heads, realize that we would save more money in the long run and have better credit, less chance of losing our homes, and a slew of other reasons to rent rather than buy a house. A house isn't always an asset. And in any case, like I said, and like Trillium's interview with the Arizona Republic, renting can be just as beneficial as buying a home.

What most of you might not know about Lennox is that he is a huge part of Arizonas Hemophilia Association, inwhich each year he helps to raise thousands of dollars for the fundation aswell as taking a week off of work dedicating his time to be a counselor @ a camp up north each summer for the the Hemophillia Association. Although Lennox does all of this out of the kindness of his heart, I think it would be a great way to show our appreciation for all the good deeds inwhich he does for children that are less fortunate than others. thanx and vote for Lennox ;-)
