Mr. Dewar has more than 25 years real estate industry experience in single- and multi-family residential, fractional, commercial and mixed-use development in both the United States and Canada.  Mr. Dewar is a founding partner and principal of Trillium Residential, LLC, a builder and manager of award-winning, luxury multi-housing properties.  Mr. Dewar directs finance, development and acquisition of each asset, as well as is intimately involved in the architecture, design and management components.

Mr. Dewar has a strong, long-term commitment to the Phoenix metropolitan area.  His strategic foresight, derived from extensive industry and market knowledge coupled with his key relationships with industry leaders, make him a strong proponent of the Phoenix area where he focuses his growth plan.

Mr. Dewar has conceived and developed more than 10,000 multi-family units and is distinguished in the Phoenix market for pioneering luxury boutique hotel-inspired design and management elements and high technology amenity offerings.  Projects range from in-fill mixed-use urban communities to garden-style communities in burgeoning corridors.

Mr. Dewar’s rich architectural and finance background and his knowledge of the overall development process, allows him to offer a broad range of expertise.  Mr. Dewar has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Architectural Science and a Certificate of Economics from Ryerson Polytechnical University in Toronto, writing his thesis on retail leasing.  His talent was immediately recognized with a position he accepted after college in which Mr. Dewar operated and managed a 1,000+ suite convention hotel, overseeing the retrofit efforts, with major world-wide hotel executives reporting to him.  Mr. Dewar is currently a member of the Young President’s Organization (YPO), National Multi-housing Council, National Apartment Association and Urban Land Institute.  Mr. Dewar was previously on the Board of Directors, Audit Committee and Advisory Board for Capital Title Group, Inc., a regional publicly-traded company based in Phoenix which was recently purchased by LandAmerica.  In addition, Mr. Dewar is on the Board of Directors for Vital Insight Group, a Toronto based customer experience management (CEM) software business that transforms how companies interact with their customers.  Vital Insight Group’s proprietary software generates insightful data that arms companies with the knowledge to take corrective action, improve customer satisfaction, drive loyalty and make more strategic business decisions.

Mr. Dewar is on the Board of Directors for Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon’s Phoenix Global Trade Initiatives.  The mission of this organization is to focus efforts toward economic development between Phoenix and the Dubai Municipality through direct foreign investment trade and development, energy/sustainability, aviation and higher education/culture.
